Hosts Roman’s Wraps Sewing Session in Memory of Chloe Elizabeth Smith The Northwest Arkansas Modern Quilt Guild (.com/) hosted a Charity Sew Day in Memory of Chloe Elizabeth Smith, cherished daughter of guild member Melissa & Jeff Smith. Chloe was devastatingly delivered stillborn at 37 weeks gestation on January 10, 2025. In honor of Chloe’s first birthday, over 20 guild members spent the day cutting, sewing, and assembling 38 Roman’s Wraps to donate to local Northwest Arkansas hospitals. A special thank you to (Cuttin’ Up Quilt Studio) in Prairie Grove, AR for generously donating the Shannon cuddle, quilting cotton fabric & batting needed to construct the Roman’s Wraps! The guild is actively planning another sew day to honor Roman, Chloe and all babies born sleeping.
